Carrying the Torch for CCH
I am thankful for your ongoing support as I assumed the awesome responsibility January 1 as CCH President & CEO. I am exuberant and frankly energized to join an elite yet humble group of five individuals who have led CCH through nearly six decades of growth in providing quality housing for low-income seniors. We have grown to nearly 60 communities, across nine states serving the needs of more than 5,000 residents. We look ahead to carrying the torch as we take CCH to even greater heights.
Core to our values is providing housing free of discrimination. We embrace the diversity of our residents and have zero tolerance for any form of discrimination based on race, religion, creed, national origin, sexual preference, and any other basis protected by law. During February, many of our communities held events commemorating the Lunar New Year and Black History Month. Be sure to read the article below and see photos from these festive events celebrating the rich diversity of our residents.
We also welcome Rhial Petal to her new role as Director of Legal Services and Employee Relations. Rhial brings her passion for helping others providing legal counsel to all levels of employees and overseeing the Human Resources and Compliance Departments. Read more about her background and enthusiasm for helping us guide CCH to success.
Finally, I’d like to thank all our friends and supporters who came out February 7 to help us honor and celebrate the legacy of former CCH President & CEO Don Stump. The occasion was a heart-felt tribute to Don’s 40 years of service to CCH and to the affordable housing industry. Read more below and click the link to see event photos.
