The latest issue of Bridge published by the Pension Fund of the Christian Church (CCH) includes a feature article about Christian Church Homes, its origin, and its mission. As a founder of CCH, Rev. Verlin Stump had a vision of providing affordable housing for seniors in the 1950’s. The passion to serve was passed to his son, Don Stump, who now is the CEO of the nonprofit. Don conveys his deep connection to the Disciples of Christ and his passion to help a vulnerable population.
CCH CEO and President, Don Stump, states, “I am deeply honored that Pension Fund of the Christian Church would recognize CCH as well as me in this issue of Bridge. The need for affordable housing has never been greater. We hope to collaborate with more partners including churches as we find solutions to today’s housing crisis.”
