REAC Scores Reflect CCH’s Dedication to Excellence
A common denominator among those of us in affordable housing is our participation in HUD’s REAC inspections and scores. This is a universal “apples to apples” approach for evaluating the quality of properties receiving Federal funds. Nearly all of our 61 properties regularly undergo these reviews and have received excellent results.
At CCH, we adhere to a strict set of building and maintenance codes to ensure our properties meet the highest standards. Over the past several years, our scores have continued to rise and consistently run ahead of HUD’s national average. In California, our average score is 93.9 (out of a possible 100) and our annual average for REAC scores in all our nine states is 92.9. These scores are well above the national average of 86.1 for HUD properties. We owe our success to the hard work and dedication of our 300 employees who help meet our mission of Providing Affordable Quality Housing in Caring Communities. Each of our employees has our utmost gratitude and the support of our CCH Board for a job well done.
